All American Tryouts Presented by USA Elite Select
We've all heard the saying-play for the name on the front of your jersey, not the name on the back. USA Elite Select is offering youth fastpitch players a chance to play for the name on the front of their jersey and represent something bigger than themselves in our inaugural All American Tryouts. We have divided the country in to eight regions and will be selecting the top 15 players in each age group (9U to 14U) to represent their respective region. Players who are selected to their regional teams will then compete against the other regions in the 1st Annual All American Games July 13-16 in Orlando, FL.
USA Elite Select has partnered with the USSSA Pride, the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), and the National Scouting Report (NSR) to bring the ultimate on and off-field experience for youth fastpitch players and parents at our All American Tryouts.
USA Elite Select will host 22 All American tryouts across the country. A uniform, professional evaluation by NSR will assess individual players in each age group from 9U to 14U and select the top 15 players from each region. NSR is the most revered high school and college recruiting organization and has conducted evaluations and showcase events for over 30 years. Players will be evaluated on their running speed, throwing speed and accuracy, fielding, hitting, pitching, and catcher's pop-time. Selections will be made by NSR and the Pride players and then announced live via an online selection show on www.usssalive.com.
All-American tryouts begin November 16th in Tampa, Florida and conclude May 8th in Quakertown, PA. For information on each event and to register for a tryout in your area, visit our website www.usaeliteselect.com.

Beyond the uniform player evaluations by NSR, every All American tryout will have on-field instruction and a panel discussion titled "Building Your Legacy" from USSSA Pride players. The "Building Your Legacy" talk will feature select Pride players sharing their stories and advice on topics such as handling failure, playing with confidence, and the tools it takes to achieve a college scholarship. The USSSA Pride won their third NPF championship in 2014 and features Olympians and NCAA All-Americans such as Cat Osterman, Caitlin Lowe, Andrea Duran, Natasha Watley, Keilani Ricketts, and Madison Shipman.
Additionally, each All American tryout will feature an educational seminar for parents performed by positive role models working in the fastpitch community such as former All American and current ESPN analyst Amanda Scarborough and former NPF player and current college professor Dr. Jami Lobpries. Topics will include the role parents play in their daughter's All American journey and advice on the journey ahead.
It is the mission of USA Elite Select to create an environment for youth fastpitch players to showcase their skills in a competitive setting while equipping all involved for long-term success on and off the field. All American tryouts are designed to promote competition and introduce players to the values of earning a position on an elite-level team and representing the name on the front of their jersey. Beyond competition, we believe in equipping players and parents for long-term success which is why we are happy to partner with organizations like the USSSA Pride and positive role models in the fastpitch community to provide educational resources and impacting impressions.
